While writing a recommendation for a colleague on LinkedIn, I came across a great example of social networking at its best:
LinkedIn: Answers: Trade Books on PR / Social Media.
A professor for a university in Georgia had asked for feedback on her prospective reading list for PR students. She got ?16 answers — all useful and relevant — from leading PR practitioners. Some of the respondents are touting their own books, but quite a few are PR execs for leading firms and responded from the POV of their professional experience. A wonderful example of professionals sharing their wisdom with others.
I happened to stumble upon this dialogue because someone in my network was one of the people who answered the professor’s question.
